recently doubled down its commitment to safety, but they’ve always had a reputation for very safe vehicles. While many of their new models have yet to be rated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)
and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the safest Cadillac currently rated is the XT4
with 5 stars from the NHTSA and a Good rating from the IIHS.Cadillac’s revamped commitment to safety is refreshingly specific. They’ve pledged to install a suite of safety options in all new models, regardless of trim, including:
- Automatic emergency braking and pedestrian braking
- Forward collision alert
- Rear park assist with a rear-vision camera
