What's the problem if my Nissan Rogue won't start and has no clicking noise?
My Nissan Rogue wouldn’t start at all today. Not only did it fail to start, but it also had no clicking noise, which makes me think it’s something more significant than just the battery. What’s causing the issue with my Nissan Rogue?

While assessing what’s wrong with a car based on noises or lack thereof is difficult, if your Nissan Rogue won’t start and doesn’t click, it could be due to a faulty ignition switch. An ignition switch is a control system of a car that activates the electrical components, allowing the car to start. Generally speaking, time and wear and tear are the reasons that this part would fail.
When your ignition switch fails, you won’t hear the clicking sound normally associated with your car trying to start. Generally speaking, an ignition switch lasts around 100,000 miles, so any longer than that, and it’s definitely a concern. The cost to replace an ignition switch on a Rogue is around $200 to $250.
