What's the cause of the 2019 RAM 1500 ticking noise on startup?

I have a 2019 RAM 1500. Since I’ve had it, the truck hasn’t caused any problems and has run like a dream. However, it has started to make a ticking noise whenever I fire up the engine. What might be causing this issue?

A ticking noise when starting a 2019 RAM 1500 could be either an exhaust manifold issue or simply the natural sound of the engine. Many RAM owners confuse the normal sound of a HEMI engine for something more serious—but since you’ve owned your vehicle for years, it’s probably the exhaust manifold.
The exhaust manifold on the 2019 RAM 1500 is known to have a few issues. In a best-case scenario, the bolts holding the manifold in place just need to be tightened. In a worst-case scenario, you will need to replace the entire exhaust manifold, which will set you back between $500 and $700.
