“Packing a small car for a road trip is an art form, and to some degree like playing a game of Tetris. It’s all about angles and turning luggage and bags in certain ways to accommodate everything.
But even after you do that, you still might have some issues getting everything you need in the car. That’s when you should employ these tips:
  • Do you really need it? Ask yourself that about every item that won’t fit until you’ve cut out the excess
  • Rent a small trailer
  • Get a cargo carrier or roof box
These are the best ways to ensure that you get everything you need in the vehicle while removing everything that you don’t.
While it’s not part of packing, a good thing to check before a roadtrip is that you have the best coverage. You may want to add
towing and labor coverage
to your policy in case your car breaks down or you get into an accident.
Jerry’s
industry-leading roadside assistance through Urgently will pay for an Uber if you need a tow and costs only $50 a year.”
