What's the average life span of a car battery?
I want to buy a car battery that I can rely on. When I go to auto parts stores, they have a wide range of warranties across batteries. What's the average life span of a car battery?

“Most car batteries last somewhere around four or five years if you limit corrosion and exposure to weather.
However, you can find high-end batteries that last around seven or eight years, while cheap options last one or two years.
If you can only afford a cheap battery, you may also want to look at adding
towing and labor coverage
to your car insurance
policy. It doesn’t hurt to add a little extra coverage in case your car won’t start. You can get jumpstarts and towing through
