What year was the first Chevrolet Camaro LT?

A friend of mine is selling his wife’s Chevy Camaro LT, but he doesn’t know much about the vehicle. All he remembers is that she bought it the first year Chevy reintroduced the Camaro. What year did the Chevrolet Camaro LT become available?

After production from 1966 to 2002, many car enthusiasts were shocked when Chevy discontinued the Camaro. Fortunately, its hiatus didn’t last all that long. The first
Chevrolet Camaro LT
debuted in 2010 in both 1LT and 2LT configurations.
You may need to get the VIN (vehicle identification number) from your buddy to get an accurate assessment of the value and features of the car. But generally speaking, the Camaro LT had several top-notch features:
  • Either a 300-hp 3.6-liter V-6 or 426-hp 6.2-liter V-8
  • Fog lamps
  • 18-inch alloy wheels (1LT) or 19-inch alloy wheels (2LT)
  • Power driver’s seat
  • Leather (2LT only)
  • Heated seats (2LT only)
  • Remote engine start (2LT only)
  • Boston Acoustics premium sound system (2LT only)
