What voids a Dodge warranty?
I bought a new Dodge Charger last year and I’ve been toying with the idea of putting some custom headlights on it to add some pizazz. A friend of mine warned that there’s a possibility that making customizations could mess with the factory warranty. What can void a Dodge warranty?

It’s smart to understand your warranty before deciding to modify your car. Your Dodge warranty can be voided by damage caused by aftermarket modifications, damage due to poor vehicle maintenance, or repairs needed after a car accident.
A limited factory warranty is designed to protect against workmanship-related defects or malfunctions. Your Dodge warranty will not cover any parts that were not on your vehicle when it left the factory, nor will it cover damage caused by carelessness or recklessness.
For example, if you go off-road in a Dodge that wasn’t built for such an activity, any damage sustained as a result doesn’t qualify for a warranty-covered repair.
