Lewis Hamilton drove for McLaren from 2007 until 2012, when he joined the Mercedes-Benz F1 team.
While at both McLaren and Mercedes, you could say the British driver had some success. And by some, we mean an insane amount of success, including:
- Hamilton won 21 races in his six seasons with McLaren, including the driver’s championship in 2008 (at age 23, the youngest driver to do so at that point).
- He has won an astounding 82 races (and counting) as a member of the Mercedes F1 team.

- Hamilton has claimed 7 Driver’s Championships, tied for the most ever with German driver Michael Schumacher.
- He also holds records for most pole positions (103), and podium finishes (188) amongst many others.
- Hamilton is so far the only Black driver to drive in the Formula 1 series.
