What SUV is comparable to the Ford Expedition?
My last SUV was a Ford Expedition, and after many years of nonstop problems I’m ready for a big upgrade. I want something similar in passenger space and cargo room. I’m not picky otherwise. What SUV is comparable to the Ford Expedition and what should I consider getting?

There are quite a few SUVs that are comparable to the Ford Expedition from Chevy, GMC, Toyota, Nissan and more.
Ford’s archrivals at Chevy have two models worth mentioning here: the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban are both formidable SUVs that hold their own with, or outright defeat, the Ford Expedition in many metrics. The GMC Acadia and GMC Yukon are similar, but more luxurious, options.
The Toyota Sequoia and Nissan Armada are in their own dogfight, and in terms of raw power they’re going to top the Ford and Chevy options handedly. These SUVs are arguably more reliable, too, but have some underwhelming trade offs when it comes to comfort.
The Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade are another set of competitors. They’re more reliable than the American SUVs, more comfortable than the Japanese options, and cheaper than any of them, with comparable seating, cargo space, and comfort levels.
We’d recommend test-driving as many of these cars as possible, particularly the Kia Telluride, which earns glowing reviews and frequently tops lists of the best SUVs today.
