What size are Chevy Volt OEM tires?

I’m in the market for a new set of tires, but I’m worried I’ll accidentally purchase the wrong size. What size are Chevy Volt OEM tires?

The size of
Chevy Volt
OEM tires varies slightly depending on your year and trim. But either way, the tire size is either 215/55R17 or 215/50R17.
Base model Volts from 2011 to 2015 have tire sizes of 215/50R17, while the 2016 base trim is slightly different at 215/55R17. And, like the 2016 model, the 2017
Volt LT
and
Volt Premier
also have OEM tire sizes of 215/50R17.
When in doubt, you should take a quick glance at your owner’s manual. You’ll be able to learn the exact model year and trim of your car, and look up the tire size while you’re at it.
Shopping for the right fit is paramount not only when it comes to your car’s tires, but also the insurance policy you purchase to keep it protected. And if you’re not feeling up to calling around and waiting on hold for hours, take a backseat and let
