What size and brand are 2017 WRX OEM tires?

Recently, I bought a used WRX from my cousin. I know a lot of people love to modify their WRXs, but I want to stick with OEM tires. What size and brand are 2017 WRX OEM tires?

Your
Subaru WRX
probably came from the factory with Dunlop Sport Maxx RT OEM tires, which are a high-performance model made for sports cars.
As shown below, your trim level will determine your tire size:
Trim level
Tire Size
Limited
245/40R18
Premium
245/40R18
Standard
245/45R17
Now, as you pointed out, many WRX owners go with aftermarket rims and tires, so you just may be able to find a gently used set of Sport Maxx tires for sale on an online WRX owner’s forum. It’s worth a look.
WRXs are fantastic cars, so it makes sense that many Subaru enthusiasts want to purchase OEM tires for their rides. However, buying and then installing a full set of tires can be expensive. You need to budget for it.
