What should you bring to your behind-the-wheel driving test?

I have my driving test next week and I’m really nervous! Is there anything that I’ll need to bring with me to my behind-the-wheel driving test, or can I just show up?

Most states will require you to bring a few items of documentation to your behind-the-wheel driving test. Check with your local DMV, but these will usually include:
  1. Your Social Security card
  2. Proof of residency, like a utility bill
  3. Another identifying document, like a valid passport or your birth certificate
You’ll also need to make sure that your car is fully functional, as your license can be denied if there are issues with your vehicle. Make sure that all of your lights are working properly, your tires have good treads, your driver’s side window rolls down, and your mirrors are all functional.
Once you pass your test, you’ll need to find a good insurance policy, too. Check out the
