What should I do if my Toyota SmartKey got locked in my car?
Somehow, my purse with the SmartKey inside it got locked inside my Toyota and I’m not sure how to open the door. Normally, my car won’t allow me to lock the doors with my key inside, so I’m not sure how this happened! What should I do?

Toyota
SmartKey signal can be blocked, particularly if it’s inside a bag or purse. If you locked your car while the key signal was blocked, you may be able to open the door simply by pulling the handle.If this option doesn’t work and you don’t have a spare key, you’ll likely need to call a locksmith to break into your car and retrieve your keys. If you’d prefer to avoid this expense, you can also use a wire clothes hanger to reach carefully through the crack in the door and press the unlock button.
