What mods void a Ford warranty?

I had a new Ford truck about two years ago and I’m thinking about customizing it. Are there any modifications that will void the warranty coverage?

That’s a good question! According to
Ford’s
New Vehicle Limited Warranty, mods will void your warranty if they include defective aftermarket parts or improper installation.
For example, your warranty will still be valid if you install a lift kit on your truck. But if that lift kit installation causes damage or issues with other parts of the vehicle, your warranty probably won’t cover those parts.
It’s important to read and understand your Ford warranty before making any big modifications to your new truck so you don’t end up having to pay out of pocket for car-related expenses.
