My parents have had a Lincoln MKZ for years, and they wanted to get a new one but discovered it was discontinued. It seems like Lincoln is turning its focus away from sedans. What SUV replaced the Lincoln MKZ?

With the rampant popularity of SUVs and crossovers, the classic sedan is definitely something of a rare bird these days.
The Lincoln MKZ wasn’t directly replaced by any Lincoln SUV in particular, but the Lincoln-Ford company expanded its SUV offerings after the MKZ sedan was removed from the lineup.

Lincoln MKZ
was produced from 2007 to 2020 and was a luxury sedan with a powerful twin-turbo V6 under the hood. While there was no direct replacement per se, the Ford
Bronco Sport
took the MKZ’s spot on some of the production lines, and the Lincoln Corsair
joined the lineup in 2020.
