I’ve been working morning hours so my commute takes place in the daylight, but I’m about to pick up an evening shift at my job. I almost never drive in the dark and I’d like a refresher on how to prepare. What lights should you turn on while driving at night?

- Low-beamheadlightsgive enough light for you to see where you’re going at night without overwhelming oncoming drivers with their brightness.
- Full-beam headlights help you see the road in the dark and signal to other drivers where you are.
- When other cars are around, use your low beam headlights, and use your high beam headlights when you’re at least 500 feet away from other cars
