That’s so thoughtful! A 2015 Hyundai Sonata takes 5W-20 or 5W-30 synthetic motor oil.
You can find this motor oil at most gas stations and auto supply shops. If the oil reservoir is very low, you will need to buy close to five quarts to fill it completely.
It may be worth getting a full oil change if you drove her car frequently while you were borrowing it. The cost of oil is included in the fee for an oil change.
