Jeep Renegade
or the Jeep Cherokee
. Today, the Jeep with the best gas mileage is the Jeep Wrangler 4xe
.As Jeep’s first plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV), the Wrangler 4xe gets up to 49 mpg when the battery and the engine work in unison. But once the battery drains, this figure falls to 20 mpg, which is on par with gas-powered Wrangler models.
If you don’t want to get a hybrid, these are the other options available to you from Jeep:

- Compass: 25 mpg
