What is the worst type of collision to be in?

After being in a car accident when I was 16, I’m always afraid that I’m going to be in another one. While I’ve been working on my defensive driving, I’m still nervous about other motorists. That said, what’s the worst type of collision to be involved in?

We’re sorry to hear about your
car accident
when you were younger. The effects can linger for some time. With that said, the worst type of collision to be in is a head-on collision.
Because two vehicles are going in opposite directions, the principles of physics and inertia come into play. Essentially, being in a head-on collision is the same as running straight into a wall. Due to the excessive force created during these accidents, head-on collisions have the highest rate of fatalities, making it the most dangerous collision of all.
Hopefully, you’re never in another collision. But if you are, you can get some peace of mind by having an affordable car insurance policy. If you haven’t reviewed your policy recently, do so with the
Jerry
app.
Jerry is a licensed insurance broker that will collect quotes from over 50 top-rated insurers in minutes. After you find a great rate, Jerry can help you buy new insurance and cancel your old policy. Users save an average of $887 per year.
