What is the warranty on a 2011 Hyundai Sonata?
My friend is selling her 2011 Hyundai Sonata, and she told me that it might be under warranty. The only issue is that she didn’t have any of the paperwork. What’s the 2011 Hyundai Sonata’s warranty?

The 2011 Hyundai Sonata originally came with a 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty**. Both of these warranties protected the vehicle against manufacturer defects and other issues not caused by general wear and tear or a lack of maintenance.
However, both of these warranties have since expired, so your 2011 Sonata wouldn’t be covered under either one of the original warranties. Your only options are to purchase a third-party warranty or pay for future repairs out of pocket.
