Good question—warranties on individual parts and accessories can often differ from the overall vehicle warranty. The warranty coverage for genuine Kia accessories is as follows:
- If your genuine Kia parts and accessories were installed by Kia or an authorized Kia dealer before you took delivery of the vehicle, they’re covered by the vehicle’s 5-year/60,000-mile basic limited warranty.
- If your genuine Kia parts and accessories are installed after you take delivery of the vehicle or by someone other than an authorized Kia dealer, the warranty can vary, but is usually no less than 12 months and 12,000 miles.
