You certainly have an aptly named car for camping, and it should be able to handle the weight of a small to medium-sized camper without much trouble. That’s because the 2008 Trailblazer has a towing capacity of 5,200 to 6,800 lbs.
Of course, if you want a more precise towing capacity, you can figure it out easily by:
- Finding the curb weight—this will be located on your car’s VIN sticker.
- **Adding on all additionalweight**—this will include passengers, a full tank of fuel, and any cargo you plan on keeping in the car.
