What is the seat belt law in Michigan?

What are the laws about wearing your seat belt in Michigan? I know these kinds of rules vary from state to state and I just moved here, so I don’t want to get ticketed by accident.

The
seat belt law in Michigan
includes the following rules:
1.) The driver of a motor vehicle and any front-seat passenger must wear a seat belt at all times.
2.) Anyone aged 16 or older does not have to wear a seatbelt in the backseat of a car or truck.
3.) Children under four years old must be restrained in a car seat.
4.) Children aged four to seven who are under four feet, nine inches tall must be in a car seat or booster seat and properly restrained.
5.) Children aged eight to 15 must wear a seat belt at all times, no matter where they are sitting in a vehicle.
If you fail to comply with these rules, the police can pull you over and give you a ticket for the offense. This ticket will cost you $65, but it won’t add any points to your license like some other traffic offenses would.
Fortunately, a seat belt ticket won’t increase your insurance premiums—but if you’d like to find even better rates on your
