What is the Prius battery life?

I’m thinking about getting a hybrid vehicle. The Toyota Prius is at the top of my list, but I’m also super thrifty. As a result, I want to make sure that the battery lasts a long time so I don’t have to spend a ton to replace it. What’s the battery life of the Prius?

The Toyota Prius battery life is roughly eight to 10 years, although many Prius owners have stated that the battery will last up to 15 years without any issues.
To put your mind at ease, Toyota offers a warranty on the Prius battery as well as other hybrid vehicles.
  • For models produced before 2020, the Prius warranty battery is eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
  • For 2020 and newer models, the Prius battery warranty is 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first.
If you plan on owning the Prius until it dies, you can save money for future repairs or a potential battery replacement by cutting your
