What is the power consumption of a ceiling fan?

I’m trying to catalog the power consumption of the items in my home as I make a shift to go green. I was able to figure out almost everything except the ceiling fan. What is the power consumption of a ceiling fan?

Going green is not only a more cost-effective way to live but fantastic for the environment! So thank you for doing more on your part.
Typically the power consumption of a ceiling fan is dependent on the size of the blades. A fan with 36-inch blades will use approximately 55 watts of power. A 48-inch blade fan will use around 70 watts of power. And a 52-inch fan will use about 90 watts of power.
If you’re looking to make the switch to energy-efficient fans, you can do so with companies like ENERGY STAR or Panasonic. These fans are designed to reach efficiency guidelines by changing their blades and motors to be more efficient.
