What is the Ohio blood alcohol limit?

I’m going to a Cleveland Guardians game next month. During a ballgame, I always like to have a few beers—if possible, I want to avoid driving, but it all depends on how much hotels are. To be on the safe side, what’s the blood alcohol limit in Ohio?

Like 48 other states, the
Ohio
blood alcohol limit is .08 or 80 mpg of alcohol per 100 mL of blood. If you have a blood alcohol content at .08 or above, you may receive an OVI, or operating a vehicle while impaired, which is the equivalent to a DUI or DWI in other states.
If you’re convicted of a DUI in Ohio, you face steep penalties, including:
  • Minimum 72 hours in jail with a maximum of six months
  • Fines of between $250 and $1,000 not including court costs
  • License suspension between six months and three years
On top of these penalties, you’ll also see a staggering increase in your car insurance rates. But before you pay a high premium, use the
