What is the Nevada blood alcohol limit?

I’ve been to Las Vegas a few times, but I didn’t know until now that you can get free drinks if you’re playing the slots or a table game. I usually rent a car, but I don’t want to risk getting a DUI. What’s the blood alcohol limit in Nevada?

The
Nevada
blood alcohol limit is .08 or 80 mg of alcohol per 100 mL of blood. It’s possible to reach this amount with only a few drinks depending on your tolerance, but don’t gamble with your future by acting irresponsibly.
Not only will you see a huge increase in your car insurance premiums, but you’re also subject to these penalties for a DUI in Nevada:
  • Jail time of two days to six months
  • Fines of $400 to $1,000
  • License suspension of up to 90 days
  • Possible requirement of an ignition interlock system
Penalties become even stiffer if you exceed the enhanced blood alcohol content of .18, so always err on the side of caution.
