This system is a standard feature that uses radar to detect other vehicles or obstacles in your blind spot.When you’re on a multi-lane road, blind spot assist is invaluable, especially at high speeds. When the radar detects something in your blind spot, it alerts you with a series of visual and audio cues to prevent an accident. While you shouldn’t use this as a replacement for checking over your shoulder or using your peripheral vision, it’s still a great system to mitigate the chance of an accident.
