What is the GMC Terrain’s oil type?
I just got a new GMC Terrain last year, and I think it’s time to change the oil. What kind of oil do I need and how much of it should I get?

GMC Terrain
with LYX 1.5 L turbo engine takes SAE 0W-20 oil. You’ll need 5.3 quarts to complete a full oil change.If you have a different kind of engine or you find yourself driving in harsh conditions, you may need a different oil type:
- LYX 1.5L turbo engine: SAE 0W-20
- LTG 2.0L turbo engine: SAE 5W-30
- For temperatures below -20 °F: SAE 0W-30
