Collision car insurance
and
uninsured motorist coverage
are fairly different. Collision covers damages to your vehicle in the event of an accident, while uninsured motorist coverage is designed to protect you in case of getting in an accident with someone who doesn’t have insurance.
If you’re confused about the online form or why the company is making you choose, it’s probably best to reach out to
GEICO
directly to ask about their requirements.”
