What is the curfew for teen drivers in Wisconsin?

I just got my probationary license. There are a lot of rules, though. Honestly, they kind of made my head spin. Can you remind me what the curfew is for teen drivers in Wisconsin?

You’re not the first
young driver
to be overwhelmed by driving laws, but don’t worry—asking questions is how you learn!
The curfew for teen drivers in
Wisconsin
is between midnight and 5:00 a.m. Drivers under 18 cannot drive during this window of time for the first nine months of holding a probationary license.
There are a few exceptions to the curfew provided, though. Teenage drivers are allowed to break this curfew if they are:
  • Driving directly to or from work
  • Driving directly to or from school
If you break this restriction or if you get a different
traffic ticket
, the curfew may be extended beyond nine months. However, since you’re doing your due diligence to learn about the law, we have a feeling you’ll be just fine!
