What is the curfew for teen drivers in Louisiana?

I have a daughter who’s always doing extracurricular activities, so I’m excited that she’s getting her license so I don’t have to play chauffeur. However, I still want to make sure she gets home before dark. Does Louisiana have a curfew for teen drivers?

When a teen can chauffeur themselves around town, you can finally take back your time. It’s a win-win!
The curfew for teen drivers in
Louisiana
is 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., which means your daughter won’t legally be able to stay out too late. However, if you’re concerned about her driving in the dark, you may want to impose your own curfew until she has more experience behind the wheel.
Keep in mind that once she’s 17, she can apply for an unrestricted driver’s license, which effectively lifts the curfew.
Regardless, make sure your teen driver has quality car insurance in place to protect them. While teen car insurance is notoriously expensive, you can find the best prices by shopping around on the
