What is the curfew for teen drivers in Georgia?

My nephew is getting his driver’s license in a few months and I’ve pretty much taught him everything he knows. The only thing we haven’t done is drive at night, so I know that both his parents and I are a bit apprehensive. Does Georgia have a curfew for teen drivers?

You’re a great uncle for teaching your nephew how to drive! The curfew for teen drivers in
Georgia
is midnight to 5 a.m.
In addition to this curfew, teen drivers:
  • Cannot have any passengers for six months
  • Can only have one passenger for the next six months
  • Can only have three passengers until they turn 18
At this point, they earn an unrestricted license, so you may need to formulate your own rules.
Be sure to have a solid car insurance policy in place to protect your young driver. But that doesn’t mean you have to drain your wallet. Instead, use the
