What is the curfew for teen drivers in California?
My daughter is about one week away from getting her license. I want to make sure that she’s safe, so I want to discuss a driving curfew. While my rules alone should do the trick, I want a fallback by looking into California driving laws. Does California have a curfew for teen drivers?

is between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. This curfew applies for the first 12 months that new drivers hold a license. Teen drivers in California are also not allowed to have any passengers under age 20 until they turn 18 and receive an unrestricted license. Hopefully, that helps you feel somewhat better!
