You’ll want to check your owner’s manual to be sure (you can find one online if you don’t have it anymore), but generally speaking, you can use any oil filter as long as it fits your vehicle.
Just remember: the better the quality of the filter, the better a job it will do in filtering out contaminants. So the bargain-bin filters might not be your best bet.
Also, keep in mind that even though you can technically use any filter, your manufacturer might require certain brands. Of course, you always want to do what your manufacturer suggests, so you don’t void your warranty!
