What is the best additive for a slipping transmission?
My transmission has been acting funky lately. A mechanic friend borrowed it for an hour to diagnose it, and he says I should get an “additive” for it, to avoid a more expensive repair. What you think is the best additive for a slipping transmission?

It’s awesome having a mechanic you can call and trust, whose willing to help you out without charging you an arm and a leg. That’s a good friend to have! And yes, he’s right. A transmission fluid additive can help stave off a slipping transmission.
