A stalling engine could be an issue with the fuel pump. Unlike in many vehicles, the Audi A4 doesn’t have a fuel pump relay. The in-tank fuel pump is controlled directly by the fuel pump controller; the fuel pump controller 12v feed is fused through fuse 3 in the middle column of the fuse block on the driver’s end of the dash.
