What is the 2017 Honda Pilot oil type?
I’m about to go with my family on a huge road trip from Florida through the states and all the way to Zion National Park. I’m getting our 2017 Honda Pilot set up with everything we need and I want to bring a container or two of oil in case we need to refill. What type should I buy?

uses 0W-20 motor oil. It’s definitely a good idea to keep a container of oil in your car in case of an emergency—especially when you’re going on a long road trip. If you’re on the road and need some emergency oil but forget which type your car takes, check the oil cap in your engine. If that’s not marked with the type of oil you need, your Pilot’s owner’s manual should also list it.
