What is the 2016 Hyundai Elantra oil type?

I drive an Elantra and I want to learn how to change my oil—but I’m not sure what kind to get. Help!

Generally in gas cars, you have two options for oil: conventional or synthetic. Conventional oil is cheaper, but it needs to be changed more often—every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. Synthetic oil, on the other hand, can go up to 10,000 miles before being changed.
If you can afford it up front, Hyundai recommends synthetic oil. The more expensive cost will pay itself off since you won’t need to change your oil as often (plus, it just makes your life easier).
