What is the 2009 Nissan Altima oil type?

I was running to the store to buy my buddy some oil for his Altima, but I realized I have no idea what I’m getting! What kind of oil does a Nissan Altima take?

How kind of you to help out a friend! A 2009
Nissan Altima’s
oil type is 0W-20, 5W-20, or 5W-30 oil—though 0W-20 is preferred.
With three different viscosities to choose from, you should have no problem finding a container (or two or three) to change or fill the oil.
