Generally, different engine sizes may require a specific quantity of motor oil to run smoothly. But thankfully, that’s not the case for the 2005 Nissan Altima! With the filter for both the 2.5-liter four-cylinder and 3.5-liter V6 engines, you’ll need 4.5 quarts of synthetic oil.
