What is the 2005 Nissan Altima fuel pump relay’s location?

My car wouldn’t start today. I had to replace the starter a couple of years ago, and it just got a new battery just last month, so I’m thinking it’s the fuel pump relay this time. Where is that located on a 2005 Nissan Altima?

The 2005 Nissan Altima fuel pump relay location is under the hood on the passenger’s side of the engine. The fuel pump relay is part of the IDPM control unit, which is in the black box next to the washer bottle fill spout. Open the cover of the black box and you’ll see the fuel pump fuse.
Fuel pump issues can be tricky to figure out, so consulting a knowledgeable mechanic may be in your best interest. If you try to fix it yourself, be sure to disconnect your battery before activating any of the fuses on the IDPM control unit!
With older vehicles, there’s always a higher risk of breakdowns—and you never know when it could happen. That’s why it’s wise to add roadside assistance coverage to your

policy. This coverage will handle everything from battery jumpstarts to locksmith services to towing!
