What is the 2002 Nissan Altima fuel pump relay location?

Apparently I’m having an issue with my fuel pump in my 2002 Altima—or so my girlfriend tells me. She’s going to check it out, but she needs to know where the fuel pump relay is. I, uh…don’t know what that is, or where to find it. Can you help?

Thanks for asking—we can definitely help you out with that problem!
The 2002 Nissan Altima fuel pump relay location is under the hood of the car on the driver’s side. There you will find a relay box with a variety of electrical switches that control various components of your car. In your owner’s manual, you’ll find a diagram that outlines which switch controls which component—locate the fuel pump relay and you’re good to go!
The fuel pump relay is an electrical switch in your car that controls whether or not the fuel pump has power. It most commonly switches off after your car is in an accident as a safety precaution—but you may need to access it to do work on your car’s fuel pump as well.
