What is the 2001 Ford F250 fuel pump relay location?

My 2001 Ford F250 kept stalling, and when my buddy took a quick look, he said it sounded like the fuel pump relay. Where can I find it?

Stalling is one of the most common symptoms of a faulty fuel pump relay. The 2001 Ford F250’s fuel pump relay is located under the dashboard behind and below the radio. It shares a small relay module with the flasher unit. You’ll have to remove the radio, turn on the flashers, and follow the sound to access the relay pump.
Alternatively, refer to your owner’s manual for specifications if you can’t find the exact location. A quick Google search may return an online version if you don’t have a physical copy.
Other symptoms to watch out for with a faulty fuel pump relay include:
  • Check engine light ON
  • Car won’t start
  • Idling
  • Bad fuel pump
  • Poor engine performance
  • No fuel pump noise
  • Exhaust system issues
  • Variable fuel consumption
