Looking at the car warranty on a vehicle before purchasing is a good idea. Subaru’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty is a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty that guarantees all included parts in your Subaru are free from defects. In total, five warranties come with all new Subarus.
Here’s what you get:
- New Vehicle Limited Warranty (3 years/36,000 miles): Comprehensive, bumper-to-bumper warranty that covers your entire vehicle.
- Wear Item Limited Warranty (3 years/36,000 miles): Covers replacement of worn brake pads/shoe linings, clutch linings, and windshield wiper blades.
- Powertrain Limited Warranty (5 years/60,000 miles): Covers the powertrain system, including the engine.
- Seat Belt Lifetime Limited Warranty (Lifetime): Covers the vehicle’s seat belts and all related compositions that fail to function correctly.
- Rust Perforation Limited Warranty (5 years/unlimited miles): Covers any body panels that have been perforated by corrosion.
- Hybrid System Limited Warranty (8 years/100,000 miles): Covers repairs and replacement for plug-in hybrid electric vehicle components, including the high-voltage battery pack.
