If your vehicle is undriveable after an accident, your rental car reimbursement will pay for a rental car up to your policy maximums. This is usually represented as two numbers: a per day limit and a per accident limit.
For example, $20/$600 would pay for a rental car that costs $20 a day until your limit of $600 is exhausted.
In most cases, your car would be fixed before you exhaust your per accident limit.
