What is not covered under the BMW CPO warranty?
My BMW needs some major repairs but I only have the CPO warranty. I have no idea what repairs are included as part of this coverage. Since it covers a lot and is confusing, can you tell me which repairs are not covered under the BMW CPO warranty?

That’s too bad about your car! The good news is your certified pre-owned (CPO) warranty covers a lot.
Here’s what is not covered under the BMW CPO warranty:
- Spark plugs
- Brake pads
- Rotors
- Exterior body issues like rust or corrosion
- Suspension parts like shock absorbers
- Interior components like carpeting and bulbs
- Items related to upkeep like engine drive belts
- Any damage caused by misuse, neglect, collisions, or alterations
With all that said, some of the added benefits of the BMW CPO warranty are:
- Roadside assistance
- Trip interruption services
- Loaner vehicles
The BMW CPO warranty might not cover everything, but it offers a lot of value. Before you pay out of pocket to repair your car, you should always consult your warranty and/or speak to your dealership to see what’s covered.
