It’s good you’re checking up on the warranty! Unfortunately, Jeep no longer offers a lifetime warranty—offered as an extended warranty, the lifetime warranty originally covered the powertrain of the vehicle, paying for repairs to the engine, transmission, drivetrain, and related components for the lifetime of the vehicle. Citing overall losses on the plan, Jeep and its partner companies (Dodge and Chrysler) discontinued the lifetime extended warranty on Dec. 1, 2018.
When you buy a Jeep, you still get a three-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. Plus, you can always add an extended warranty for up to eight years and 150,000 miles if you so desire.
