I’m in the market for a luxury car, but the warranty is one of my deciding factors. The Infiniti powertrain warranty seems amazing, but I want to make sure that I know what it covers. What’s covered under the powertrain warranty from Infiniti?

The Infiniti powertrain warranty covers all components related to the drivability of your vehicle, including the engine, drivetrain, transmission, and related components. When you buy a new Infiniti, you get this coverage for 6 years or 70,000 miles—whichever comes first.
On top of the powertrain warranty, every new Infiniti also comes with a 4-year, 60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers all components of your vehicle.
Note that these warranties only cover damage caused by a manufacturer defect or poor workmanship. It does not cover maintenance or general wear and tear.
