has a particular set of requirements a pre-owned Lexus has to fulfill to be eligible for their certified warranty, or “L/Certified program.” The certified warranty with Honda
offers coverage on repairs or replacement of components that fail under normal use due to defects in materials or workmanship.These components include the following:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Steering
- Brakes (excluding rotors and pads)
- Fuel system
- Cooling
- A/C and heating systems
- Electric systems
- Restraint systems
The Lexus certified warranty covers up to 6 years/unlimited mileage on these components, breaking down as follows:
- Minimum of two years/unlimited mileage after the 4-year/50,000-mile new vehicle basic warranty expires, OR
- Two years from your L/Certified purchase or lease date, whichever occurs later
There’s no deductible and repairs under this warranty are made at no cost.
You’ll also receive:
- A complimentary loaner car for repairs that are covered under warranty
- Coverage for trip interruption caused by warranted vehicle failure
- 24/7 roadside assistance
